So this is what Alaska is like..... Josh and I needed to go to the bank the other day but we noticed that the line was out the door and we would have to stand behind this guy!!!!! We decided to just take a pictures and come back later.
(p/s This is not a statue! It's the real deal here in Alaska. They roam around town and there have even been times that while driving down the road you have to stop and wait for them to cross the road!)

I think i do have the most pyscho sister ever! j/k Tara! That is weird, are there moose just walking around all over the place in town? is that normal? r those things mean?
Thanks you to tara for all her fun comments. and yes it took you a few days!!(j/k) I think you are the funniest sister and i am so glad you are my sister!! TO answer a few questions NO you DO NOT pet these things. You dont even want to make eye contact. They are really mean and have killed many many people here in Alaska over the years. Im assuming more when being hunted then when they are in town. And yes this is a normal occurance. During the winter it is very common to see one two three or more a day but during the spring they start doing back into the mountains, which is basically your backyard!! But then you know when it is hunting session because they start coming back out of the woods to hopefully have their lives spared!!
Just the other day Josh was driving back on the main highway and someone had hit a moose!! Needless to say the guys big truck was totaled and the moose died. This happens a lot and is a big cause of accidents because they can be anywhere.
