ONE YEAR!!!

We made it!!! Josh and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary on Sunday June 8. And we had a wonderful day together. We went to church, where I had the wonderful opportunity to speak! And then after church we headed out of town for the night. Since it is hard for Josh to get a day off, he was able to take "pass" and got Monday morning off so that we could spend it together. We drove just 45 minutes south of Anchorage and stopped for a beautiful hike on Bird Ridge. It was a tough little hike, pretty much all up hill!! But we did it. I slowed Josh down a little but he was patience with me and helped me all along the way. Moose even got to join in on our anniversary and did really good on the hike! She was in heaven. After the hike we drove around the small little town of Girdwood, AK and just took in the beautiful mountains and water all around us! Then we got dinner at the famous little steakhouse in Girdwood called the Double Musky Inn. It was delicious and we got to splurge for the big day! We had a wonderful day spent together and are so glad to be here together and enjoy all these great experiences.

I just posted all the pictures in random order. This is what we get to live in!! It is just beautiful here and really takes my breath away everyday. There is so much to do and all you have to do is drive right down the street or get on your bike (which i will be getting soon hopefully) and it is so much fun to be outdoors.

Views from on top of the mountain we hiked.

Our little family!

Still from on top of the mountain. We sat there for a little while and just looked around! It was so much fun and like you can see just beautiful. Some times I can't believe we really live here!! And get to see all this in person. I feel so lucky.

These are a couple pictures from the beginning on the trail. I don't know if you can see just how steep it really was.

Moose was pretty tired after the hike! Which we were thankful for. Isn't she cute! One spoiled little dog with a mat big enough for a dog three times her size. She had the whole back section to herself, with the seats folded down and a nice bed all made for her.

This is the sign in front of the cute little restaurant we ate at.

I also got some pretty roses!

I'm lauging at Kaylynn's comments because she thinks Moose girl is spoiled......Kaylynn, honey, so is Craig! You are funny. Ok breathtaking views is an understatement. I am in awe! I seriously have never seen something so beautiful. People that think AZ is beautiful are crazy. Alaska......beautiful. It looks fake or something - like a fake background you guys are standing in front of. You are doing great on taking so many pictures of it. Someday you will forget just how pretty it was, until you look back at the pics. Amazing. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY (again) Where did the last year go? It's crazy. What a fun adventure to go on. I'm glad you guys had fun, including Moose Girl. I hate hiking, but if I got to see something that beautiful at the top I might be up for it. Here???? Not so much. love you guys
