Lucky to be Alive!

Josh is in an Airborne Unit, which means he gets to jump out of airplanes at least once a month. So he had a jump on Tuesday and he came back like this. After jumping out of the plane the lines to his parachute were all tangled together which didn't allow his parachute to open completely. He tried getting them untangled before hitting the ground. He was successful at that but it was a little to late. He was still falling really fast to the ground. And had a pretty rough landing when he reached the ground. He landed on his knee and was in pain. Luckily was able to get up after laying there for a bit and walk in to where everyone else gathers after jumping. He went to the doctor today to get it checked and nothing is torn, thank goodness. Only a bruised knee cap and a lot of swelling under the knee. He is doing good and able to get around alright and will be back to normal in no time. It could of been a lot worse and I am so thankful it wasn't.
