We have been fishing quit a bit this summer and haven't been to successful but it hasn't stopped us from still enjoying ourselves. But this particular fishing trip, Josh came out a winner! He caught his FIRST SILVER SALMON!!! We were so excited. We LOVE fish, especially salmon, and the only way to eat it here is if you catch it yourself! When we first got here and started grocery shopping at Costco we looked for our favorite salmon to buy and it was no where to be found. I mentioned this to someone at work one day and her response was, "Oh No, you don't BUY salmon here... You go out and catch it yourself!" Thanks for letting me know.
So we went out and bought each of us our own set of waders and fishing pole and have spent a few weekends out fishing. The HOTTEST fisherman out there!
Here is our Salmon!
Then we got to bring him home and clean him up and get the good part out! This was quit the experience all in itself, for our first time ever gutting a fish.
And the finished product! He sure tasted good.

The second hottest (first in my book) is in the orange shirt!!
What a great FHE!!
Oh my gosh that is so gross!! Do you get out there and fish to Britt? I have heard a lot how good Josh cooks salmon but I don't think I could try it. Glad you guys enjoyed it.
I'm not sure about the title of this post- yuck. :) Soooo fun catching it though- brings back so many memories when I see pics like this. I am SO grateful for the time we got to spend there and see first hand the fun that you guys are always having. We LOVED it there!! We seriously miss you guys. I want to go back!!
Oh man! This is awesome. I showed Ben this post and he said, "And....why do we live here again?" "We seriously need to pack up and move there - why do more people not live there.....its like the last frontier" He thinks its so awesome and beautiful and he would LOVE (I won't tell you what he really said) to live there. That is a huge salmon - at least it looks huge in the pictures. And heck yes Brittany, way to get out there too. I'm proud of you. I can't wait to taste Josh's salmon one day just as much as I can't wait to have one of your massages. Maybe a beautiful salmon dinner with apple cider (on ice) and a massage after??? huh huh?? You know what I'm talking about Rache! "MMM...smells like apple juice" HA HA It was so fun talking to you tonight. You guys are so cute.
By the way, I'm ALL ABOUT the title of this post. I LOVE LOVE LOVE SEAFOOD. Love it. Glad someone else in the family does too because we sure do.
