A few weeks ago we had a Battalion Fun Day (they like to call it). It involved Bar-B-Q, wives getting to jump from the jump towers (the towers that are used during airborne training), and getting to dunk the officers in the dunk tank. So being the privileged officer he is, Josh's soldiers got their chance at dunking their Platoon Leader in the water.
One of his privates went first and got his chance at three balls and failed miserably. So they had to let the wife, being ME, go next. And lets just say that Josh had to get his hair wet with my first ball!!!! I came out triumphant and dunked, my officer, not just once but TWICE out of the three balls I had. I was quit proud of myself and thoroughly enjoyed it. The rest of the soldiers were impressed as well! Thanks honey for being a good sport! And thanks Dad for all those times you played catch with me in the backyard, it really paid off! HA.
This was at the end of his turn. It was also raining that day a little and was quit chilly out so Josh was pretty cold. But he got to change into some dry clothes right afterwards.
Josh's 1st Sergeant letting his little daughter cheat and dunk Josh in the water.
